Meeting Minutes

05/17/2017

Call to Order

Greg Zupan called to order the regular meeting of the Hayhurst PNET

May 17 2017 – 06:45 to 8:30 PM – Alpenrose Dairy – Ice Cream Shop – 6149 SW Shattuck Rd. Portland – 503-577-2821

Roll call

The following parties were present: Kathy Blondell, Randy Brown, Ron Hellenthal, Rob Luck, Greg Zupan.

Roll call

Ron gave an update of the Staging Area signs installation:

 

• Contacted Tracy @ Alpenrose to install the signs, still awaiting clarification from Primary Staging Area stakeholders for details
• Sign installed at VHUMC
  
• Pastor Tim moved on to higher position
• Ron gave an Wilderness First Aid Training update – training available four times per year for approximately $125.00

Randy met up with Battalion Chief Rob Hawks agreed to a meeting on 10th of June approximately 9am to help build report and better understand route followed prior to disaster.

Motion was made by Ron to shift from every other month Hayhurst NET Planning Meeting to monthly and the decision was unanimously voted in. To identify the meeting schedule please visit http://hayhurstnet.com. There will be one future conflict due to Alpenrose dibs for another event. Ron agreed to approach VHUMC for permission to use secondary staging area facility as alternate meeting area.

Randy agreed to follow-up with the NET Program Manager to pass on the inventory supply request to check up on the progress. Greg agreed to pass on the initial request to Randy prior to the training meeting.

Notes: Randy, Kathy, and Greg attended the Hayhurst Elementary Auction to represent the Hayhurst NET to help recruit more people becoming active in the NET program and our direct volunteer team. We had two people who signed up for follow-up.
